Super Post and Rail Fence
The Superpost and Rail Fence is a counter-intrusion system that can
be installed in open areas to snarl and immobilize intruding vehicles.
The Superpost and Rail Fence is an energy absorbing, horizontal barrier
system consisting of two superposts joined by a rail. Its vehicle stopping
capability is achieved by the use of specially designed high strength
lateral members (rails) in conjunction with uniquely constructed posts
and anchorages. The result is a physical perimeter security system that
appears to be a typical post and rail fence, but is truly an effective
vehicle barrier.
The Superpost and Rail Fence is designed for facilities where extensive
perimeters must be secured from vehicle intrusion. Additionally, for
situations where concrete vehicle barriers might be a consideration,
the Superpost and Rail Fence can provide equal or superior security
in an attractive fashion and without obstructing the line of sight.
The Superpost and Rail Fence has the following features:
• It is a kit-based system with minimal installation time
• It is a passive barrier system
• Low maintenance required
• Can be installed in areas with minimal disturbance of the area
• Crash rating certification provided
The Superpost and Rail Fence technology is very flexible and can be
applied to a wide range of fence styles and perimeter situations. The
result is a system that can be customized to blend with virtually any
existing perimeter environment.
Installation expense is minimal due to a simple configuration with few
parts and only excavation of holes to place the superposts. This system
is kit-based and requires only a minimal installation time.
The Superpost and Rail Fence is a passive barrier system. It doesn't
have any moving parts and the entire system is designed for long-lasting
wear and minimal repair.
The Superpost and Rail Fence options include:
• Custom design to fit perimeter setting
• Retrofit to existing perimeter security system
• Various post spacings
• Various post heights
• More or less rails
• Timely response to customer inquiries
• Onsite installation oversight
• Highly qualified support personnel who hold Government Security
