VSB P-10™
The VSB P-10™ is the most innovative access control device available.
The P-10™ is a transportable surface-mounted "pop-up"
roadway barrier that can be used as a permanent or temporary counter
intrusion device.
• All steel construction, welded and inspected to AWS D1.1
• 2" thick, one-piece steel plate wedge

The P-10™ is certified at the Department of State's K12/L1 level.
After stopping a 15,000 lb. vehicle exceeding 50 mph the P-10™
was fully functional. The L1 rating was achieved without anchors. Anchors
can be installed to vastly improve this rating.
The P-10™ can be easily placed at sites where below-ground models
would be expensive or impossible to install. High water table, bedrock,
or underground cables and pipes do not hinder the P-10's™ installation.
In emergency situations operating time is less than two seconds; normal
operating time is eight seconds or less. Improved performance is available
where needed of normal up in 5 seconds and emergency up in 1 second
or less.
P-10™ installation requires no excavation or anchors but may be
installed directly to manmade structures. Because the device is self-contained,
except for external power source, it can be placed on any flat surface
and does not require the site preparation and construction required
for installing other pop-up roadway barriers. The P-10™ can be
installed in less than half a day and can be quickly disassembled into
three components for storage and transportation. Off road transportation
does not require disassembly.
The P-10™ may be operated from a remote location, with a 50 ft.
walk around cable, or by use of a key pad or card reader. A backup battery
power pack is available.
The P-10's™ unique self-contained curbed design traps fluid to
prevent seepage in the event of a system leak. The result, a roadway
barrier suitable for use in sensitive environments such as high water
table and porous soil.
Maintenance and repair costs are reduced by the P10's™ modular
design and the ease with which components can be accessed. Surface mounting
eliminates excavation should repairs be necessary. Servicing procedures
that require days for a below-ground model can be completed in minutes with the P-10™.
